CM Punjab visists London Metro

Indeed very good news ......... but I think for cities in Pakistan this would be rather a very difficult job very there is no information available about underground utilities ............... better than this shall be on road Tram system or over head metro like Dubai ............. as certainly less costlier than underground one ..................

Last year CM also visited Tehran metro during his visit to Iran. There many hopes that after that visit we would listen some good news, but all in vain! so i m not really excited with current visit of CM. Thats quite obvious that they dont have enough funds to start such a mega project! Wht i think is that LRMTS is just a dream now! neither could have previous govt started this project, nor this govt will start this project! our politicians are all senseless and they just want to fill their asses with a lot lot lot of money!

yes true Mohsin ..... this is the fact ........ and indeed very ironic, terrible. I think this is because Mr. Sharif don't want that the project of previous government should be implemented so he abondondon all those initiated by the preious government, as people will say it was initiated by last Govt. Imagine these people, how they can be people leaders when they just want their name on every project and want to listen all priases for them ...........

there are some signs of political rivalry but personally I dont think that this is happening due to political rivalry! its just the matter of funds! previous govt could have started this they had more than enough time. but wht they could manage only was a feasibility report!and we all know that a corruption of heavy amount is caught at the back of this whole thing! it was a golden chance for the previous govt to start this project physically because during there tenure economy was globally booming! and there was a mess of foreign investment in Pakistan. now its global recession that is going on for last 2 years! investors do not have money to invest in such mega projects! and such projects are not possible for the govt to complete alone, involvement of foreign private sector is necessary!

Ya true, but this attitude of rivalries has to be change, people knows now this doesn't matter who initiate the project and who implement ....... They just now want things which makes their lives better ........ I don't bother about this that these roject were inititated by Pervaiz Elahi, what I know is they were indeed very wonderful project and if implemented would have generated a number of jobs and also indeed adds to the importance to Lahore ..... but who tell these dunmb minded politicians that this doesn't matter who start who inaugurated the project ..... the thing that matters is who cares for the people ...... Mohsin when Punjab government can spend so many billion rupees on building the Shalimar Interchange, than I think its not a problem to manage resources for these projects, while Mubarak center was all foreign investment not a single penny has to be spent by the Punjab government ........

So Mohsin ............. What you say about recent controversy of Rana Sana ulla's plaza on Fane Road .... which is indeed illegal ...... so I think you are quite one sided in your views about the demolition of the plazas and what I think it's all political rivalry ......... as most of thees plazas owners were supporters of previous government ......... so better get further information as think if you buy a shop in one such of a plaza and later this happens ......... think as an expatriate Pakistani ......... who just have invested his hard earned money in such plazas with a view to make his livelihood .......... very ironic ....
